What does your job involve?
Leading the Restaurant Services team in Sofia. My focus is on building a successful team who can provide high-quality solutions for the business.
What characteristics are needed for this role and why?
Teamwork, creativity, organisational skills and a zen mindset are all important. You also need advanced technical knowledge, adaptability, proactivity and the ability to think outside the box.
What do you like about working at Takeaway.com?
There’s freedom in terms of development and in how I manage my team. I’m also fortunate to have great colleagues who are a pleasure to work with. Sometimes it can be challenging to find the right approach with each team member and it takes time and practice. But I gain experience from this, and it’s satisfying to find the right approach.
What are your KPIs?
Improving my team management skills, helping the team achieve higher code standards and finding the best technological solutions.
Which tools do you use?
Most are standard and are defined by the company - PhpStorm, DataGrip, Postman, GitKraken, Slack, IntelliJ Idea, Docker. Of course, I also use Notes and Reminders.

What is your vision for the company in the future?
I think that the company has huge potential thanks to the great people working here. Personally I’m focused on software management, architecture and building efficient teams with people who enjoy working with each other.

Your favorite spot in the office is...
The Quiet Room. It really helps me to stay focused.
What can we find at your desk?
Not much. There’s a pen and some paper for taking notes. I also have a cup which says “Peace Love Gratitude” but in Bulgarian (Мир Любов Благодарност). Oh, and my cool Mac wireless keyboard and mouse.
What do you usually order for lunch?
Something vegetarian. I try not to have bread but sometimes I do order pizza!
What are your hobbies outside of work?
Reading books, yoga and meditation.
An interesting fact we didn’t know about you?
I want to travel across Europe with a van. I want to become more enlightened.
